10 Firms Compared Independently Verified Real Pricing Updated 2026

Quick Answer

The Software House, STX Next and Netguru lead MatchFast’s 2026 ranking of the best software development company Poland options, verified from Clutch profiles on 11 September 2026. Eight of the ten publish the identical 50 to 99 US dollars hourly band and a ninth publishes below it, so price is not the differentiator here. Minimum project size, running from 10,000 to 50,000 US dollars, is. No company paid to appear.

Key Stats

  • Clutch lists 1,650 software development companies in Poland, ratings updated 11 September 2026 [source]
  • The ten firms ranked here hold 634 verified Clutch reviews between them at an average rating of 4.83 out of 5 [source]
  • Eight of the ten publish an identical 50 to 99 US dollars hourly band. Monterail publishes lower at 25 to 49, and Spyrosoft publishes no rate at all [source]
  • Minimum project size separates these firms, not rate: 10,000 US dollars at Monterail, 25,000 at five firms, 50,000 at three, undisclosed at one [source]
  • Recorded service mix varies more than price does, from 60 percent custom software development at The Software House to none recorded at STX Next, which now records 55 percent AI development [source]
  • Poland exported 16.7 billion euros of computer services in 2024, up from 14.25 billion in 2023, per Eurostat [source]
  • Poland employed 778,800 ICT specialists in 2025, 4.5 percent of total national employment, per Eurostat [source]
  • Poland produced 20,677 tertiary ICT graduates in 2024, per Eurostat. The 40,000 figure repeated by other rankings is a misreading of an engineering total [source]
  • Polish business services exports reached a record 48.4 billion US dollars in 2025, 6.1 percent of national GDP, per ABSL [source]

Market Snapshot

Poland is the largest software development market in Central and Eastern Europe and the default nearshore choice for German, British and Nordic buyers who want European Union jurisdiction alongside a cost advantage over Western Europe. It is also the market where published pricing is most uniform, which changes how you should shortlist.

What Are the Parameters We Considered?

Each software development company in Poland below was scored on eight criteria. Every rating, review count, hourly band, headcount, minimum project size, founding year and service mix was read from the company’s live Clutch profile on 11 September 2026, and every head office was checked against the company’s own website and registration rather than the directory label alone.

01

Recorded Software Development Share

We used the service mix Clutch records against each firm, not its homepage. Shares range from 60 percent custom software development at The Software House to none recorded at STX Next, and that spread drove the order.

02

Verified Independent Reviews

Volume and average were both counted. Two reviews dated 2018 is not an evidence base, and the firm carrying them sits tenth for that reason rather than on quality.

03

Polish Head Office, Independently Checked

Every head office was verified against the company’s own website and registration, not the directory label. All ten are genuinely Poland-headquartered, and the specific hub is named for each.

04

Published Pricing and Minimum

Firms publishing an hourly band and a minimum were preferred, because a buyer can qualify fit before a sales call. One firm publishes neither and is marked.

05

Client-Reported Project Size

We used the project size band appearing most often in each firm’s verified reviews, which reflects what clients actually spent rather than an industry estimate.

06

Trading History

Years in operation were counted. The ten span 1999 to 2016, and Poland’s software sector is mature enough that a twenty-year history is common rather than exceptional.

07

Certification and Independent Recognition

ISO 27001 is common in this market. ISO 13485 for medical devices and TISAX for automotive are not, and they were recorded where held.

08

Named Client Evidence

Every firm in this ranking carries at least one named client verifiable on its own site. Case studies without a named client were not accepted as evidence.

Top Software Development Companies in Poland

Each firm below was scored on the eight criteria above. Every figure was read from the company’s live Clutch profile on 11 September 2026. Recorded custom software development share and verified review volume carried the most weight between them, which is why the firm with the most reviews on this page is second rather than first, and why a firm with genuinely elite engineering credentials is tenth.

10 firms found

The Software House records 60 percent custom software development, the highest share on this page, and only two service lines in total. Nothing else here is that focused. It pairs that with 78 verified reviews and a 25,000 US dollar minimum, and is an AWS Advanced Partner with unusual depth in post-merger technology integration for a firm of its size.

Minimum project size: $25,000+ · Most common project size: $50,000 to $199,999, across 57 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Custom Software Development 60%, Web Development 40%

02

STX Next

4.7 (102 reviews) Visit Website

STX Next holds 102 verified reviews, the largest base on this page, and has traded since 2005. Note the repositioning: Clutch now records 55 percent AI development and no custom software development line at all, where this firm was known for two decades as a Python house. If you are buying a conventional software build rather than an AI platform, read that service mix carefully.

Minimum project size: $50,000+ · Most common project size: $50,000 to $199,999, across 61 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: AI Development 55%, Web Development 20%, Generative AI 15%, AI Consulting 10%

03

Netguru

4.8 (73 reviews) Visit Website

Netguru is the most internationally recognised Polish software house and records the broadest balanced service mix on this page across eight lines. That breadth is the reason to pick it for a multi-discipline product and the reason to probe depth in whichever single line matters most to your brief. Its named client Delivery Hero is a listed European technology company.

Minimum project size: $50,000+ · Most common project size: $50,000 to $199,999, across 38 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Custom Software Development 20%, Mobile App Development 15%, Web Development 15%, AI Consulting 10%, Generative AI 10%, IT Staff Augmentation 10%, Low/No Code Development 10%, Web Design 10%

04

10Clouds

4.9 (95 reviews) Visit Website

10Clouds holds 95 verified reviews at 4.9 and is an Anthropic Claude Partner Network Select partner. Half its recorded work is now AI development, AI consulting and generative AI, with only 10 percent custom software development and a further 25 percent in strategy and business consulting. It is an advisory-led firm, which suits some buyers and not others. A group entity merger completed in April 2026, so two Clutch profiles exist.

Minimum project size: $25,000+ · Most common project size: Under $49,999, across 70 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: AI Development 20%, AI Consulting 15%, Generative AI 15%, IT Strategy Consulting 15%, Business Consulting 10%, Custom Software Development 10%, Product Design 10%, CRM Consulting and SI 5%

05

Software Mind

4.9 (58 reviews) Visit Website

Software Mind holds the joint highest rating on this page at 4.9 and its most common reviewed project sits between 200,000 and 999,999 US dollars, which places it clearly in the enterprise tier. It also offers nearshore delivery from Latin America, the only firm here that does, which suits buyers needing Americas timezone coverage alongside Poland. ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 certified.

Minimum project size: $50,000+ · Most common project size: $200,000 to $999,999, across 43 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: AI Agents 15%, AI Development 15%, Cloud Consulting & SI 15%, Custom Software Development 15%, IT Strategy Consulting 15%, Cybersecurity 10%, Enterprise App Modernization 10%, BI & Big Data Consulting & SI 5%

06

Boldare

4.8 (63 reviews) Visit Website

Boldare records 30 percent custom software development alongside 20 percent UX and UI design, and runs a holacracy operating model with no traditional management layer. Its typical reviewed project sits under 50,000 US dollars, so it is structured for product discovery and first releases rather than multi-year programmes. Its named client Sonnen is a German energy storage manufacturer.

Minimum project size: $25,000+ · Most common project size: Under $49,999, across 40 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Custom Software Development 30%, AI Development 20%, UX/UI Design 20%, Web Development 20%, Low/No Code Development 10%

07

Monterail

4.8 (61 reviews) Visit Website

Monterail is the only firm on this page publishing a 25 to 49 US dollars hourly band, below the 50 to 99 that eight of the other nine quote, and the only one with a 10,000 US dollar minimum. It is an official Vue.js and Nuxt partner and has acquired three specialist studios since 2024, adding MedTech capability. Its named client Merck is a listed pharmaceutical group.

Minimum project size: $10,000+ · Most common project size: $50,000 to $199,999, across 49 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Custom Software Development 20%, AI Consulting 15%, Mobile App Development 15%, Web Design 15%, Web Development 15%, Generative AI 10%, IT Staff Augmentation 10%

Future Processing pairs the lowest minimum of the large firms here at 25,000 US dollars with a typical reviewed project between 200,000 and 999,999, so it will take a smaller engagement but is structured around much larger ones. It has traded since 2000 and holds proprietary insurance software, futureClaims, built for the London Market. Its named client Hiscox is a listed specialist insurer.

Minimum project size: $25,000+ · Most common project size: $200,000 to $999,999, across 34 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Cloud Consulting & SI 25%, Custom Software Development 25%, AI Consulting 10%, AI Development 10%, BI & Big Data Consulting & SI 10%, Cybersecurity 10%, Web Development 10%

09

Miquido

4.9 (51 reviews) Visit Website

Miquido records 70 percent mobile app development, the single highest concentration in any one service line across this entire ranking. That makes it the strongest mobile pick in Poland and the weakest fit for a buyer who needs a general software development partner. It is ninth here for that reason alone, not on quality. Its named client Skyscanner is a global travel search platform.

Minimum project size: $25,000+ · Most common project size: Under $49,999, across 38 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Mobile App Development 70%, Custom Software Development 25%, AI Development 5%

10

Spyrosoft

5.0 (2 reviews) Visit Website

Spyrosoft is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, reported 167 million US dollars of 2025 revenue and holds ISO 13485 and TISAX certification for medical device and automotive work. It is by far the strongest engineering credential on this page. It is also tenth, because its Clutch profile carries two reviews dated 2018, publishes no hourly rate and no minimum. The evidence base this ranking uses barely covers it.

Minimum project size: Undisclosed · Most common project size: Confidential, across 2 reviewed projects

Clutch recorded service mix: Custom Software Development 20%, Web Development 13%, Cloud Consulting & SI 10%, IT Staff Augmentation 10%, IoT Development 10%, AI Development 7%, Application Management & Support 5%, Application Testing 5%, BI & Big Data Consulting & SI 5%, Enterprise App Modernization 5%, IT Managed Services 5%, Mobile App Development 5%

The best software development companies in Poland, compared

Eight of the ten firms on this page publish the same hourly band, and a ninth publishes below it. That single fact changes how you should shortlist. In London or New York, price sorts the market. In Poland it does not, because $50 to $99 is what the country charges and only Monterail publishes lower. What sorts the market here is the service mix each firm actually records, the minimum engagement it will accept and the size of project it typically runs.

Clutch listed 1,650 software development companies in Poland when this page was checked on 11 September 2026. Ranking them by brand recognition would put Netguru first, because it is the Polish software house most international buyers can name. Ranking them by the share of work each one records as custom software development produces a different order, and that is the order below. The Software House records 60 percent. Boldare records 30. Netguru records 20. STX Next, which holds the largest review base in Poland, now records none at all. Cross-check any figure on Clutch, or browse the full MatchFast rankings directory.

What other Poland rankings get wrong

Four claims appear in almost every ranking of top software development companies Poland buyers read. All four are wrong, and MatchFast checked each one rather than repeating it.

The claim you will see elsewhere What the primary source actually shows
Poland ranks third in the world for developer skill, per HackerRank That study was published on 25 August 2016 and is now ten years old. It is still described as current by Polish government-adjacent reports. This page does not use it.
Poland produces around 40,000 IT graduates a year Eurostat recorded 20,677 tertiary ICT graduates in 2024. The 40,000 figure is a misreading of a broader engineering graduate total, and it overstates the talent pipeline by roughly double.
Poland is 30 to 50 percent cheaper than Western Europe No defensible figure exists. Clutch places Poland in the same $50 to $99 band as the United States, publishes no United Kingdom figure and does not list Germany. The three rate sources checked contradict each other. This page states the band and declines to publish a percentage.
Codete is a leading Krakow software house Codete was absorbed into Exadel and codete.com now redirects to exadel.com. The brand no longer exists independently, yet it still appears in rankings published in 2026.

One more correction applies to this page itself. Spyrosoft is by most engineering measures the strongest firm in this ranking: listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, 167 million US dollars of 2025 revenue, ISO 13485 and TISAX certified for medical device and automotive work. Its Clutch profile carries two reviews, both dated 2018, and publishes neither an hourly rate nor a minimum. Other rankings show its 5.0 score alongside firms with 100 reviews as though the two are comparable. They are not, and Spyrosoft sits tenth here for that reason while its credentials are stated in full.

How much does software development outsourcing Poland side cost in 2026?

Polish pricing is easier to pin down than in most markets because the published bands are nearly uniform. The table below uses the project size band that appears most often in each firm’s verified Clutch reviews, so it reflects what clients reported spending rather than an industry survey estimate.

Client-reported project band Firms whose typical project lands here What that buys
Under $49,999 10Clouds, Boldare, Miquido A defined product on one platform, a discovery phase plus first release, or a scoped extension to a system you already run. Typically 3 to 5 months.
$50,000 to $199,999 The Software House, STX Next, Netguru, Monterail A full platform with a custom backend, integrations, an admin layer and a design system, or a multi-team product engagement. Typically 5 to 10 months.
$200,000 to $999,999 Software Mind, Future Processing Multi-year enterprise programmes, regulated-sector builds and long-running managed engagements. Two of the ten firms have this as their most common reviewed project.
Confidential Spyrosoft Both its Clutch reviews withhold project value.

At a published $50 to $99 per hour, the arithmetic is straightforward. A 1,000 hour build, a reasonable estimate for a platform with a web front end and a custom backend, lands between $50,000 and $99,000 before change orders. That is the number to hold against any proposal you receive. If a quote sits well below it, ask which parts of the scope were removed, or which work has been moved to a cheaper delivery location.

Minimum project size is the real filter

Because the hourly band is identical across eight of the ten, and the ninth sits below it, the minimum engagement is what actually sorts them, and it is the fastest way to avoid wasting three weeks on a proposal that was never going to fit.

Minimum project size Firms
$10,000+ Monterail
$25,000+ The Software House, 10Clouds, Boldare, Future Processing, Miquido
$50,000+ STX Next, Netguru, Software Mind
Not published Spyrosoft

Watch for the mismatch this creates. Future Processing publishes a $25,000 minimum, but its most common reviewed project sits between $200,000 and $999,999. A firm can accept your budget and still be organised entirely around programmes ten times larger, which usually shows up as a junior team and an account manager whose attention is elsewhere. Compare the minimum against the typical project, not the minimum alone.

Polish development hubs compared

Poland is not one market. Salary costs, specialisms and availability differ by hub, and choosing a software house Poland wide without naming the city is how buyers end up paying Warsaw rates for work that could have been done in Silesia.

Hub Firms ranked here What buyers should know
Gliwice and Silesia The Software House, Boldare, Future Processing Three of the ten, more than any other hub, and routinely folded into Krakow by other directories. A genuinely distinct market with lower salary costs than the capital.
Poznan STX Next, Netguru Strong on AI, Python heritage and product engineering. Both firms here have deep international client bases.
Krakow Software Mind, Miquido The largest Polish tech hub by company count, spanning enterprise programmes and mobile specialism.
Wroclaw Monterail, Spyrosoft Strength in embedded, automotive and safety-critical engineering, alongside the lowest published rate in this ranking.
Warsaw 10Clouds The capital and financial centre. Highest salary costs, deepest fintech and banking domain experience.
Tri-City and Gdansk None in this ranking An established hub with no representative in these ten. Worth checking separately if a Baltic coast location matters to you.

Why Poland, and what it costs you

Poland’s advantage over Ukraine and India is jurisdiction. It is a European Union member state, so the contract, the data processing agreement and the intellectual property assignment all sit inside a legal framework a European buyer already understands, and GDPR alignment is the default rather than a contractual add-on. For a German or British buyer in a regulated sector, that removes a category of risk no rate difference compensates for.

The talent base supports it. Eurostat recorded 778,800 employed ICT specialists in Poland in 2025, the largest in Central and Eastern Europe, with 20,677 new tertiary ICT graduates in 2024. Poland exported 16.7 billion euros of computer services in 2024, up from 14.25 billion the year before, and Polish business services exports reached a record 48.4 billion US dollars in 2025, equal to 6.1 percent of national GDP. Central European Time puts the whole working day inside overlap for European clients and gives a usable afternoon for the United States East Coast.

The cost is that Poland is no longer cheap. Clutch places it in the same $50 to $99 band as the United States, double the Ukraine and India bands. An IT outsourcing Poland engagement is a quality and jurisdiction decision, not a cost-arbitrage one, and any agency pitching it purely on savings is selling you a 2015 argument. The honest comparison is that you pay roughly twice Ukraine to get EU law, EU contracting and a talent pool that is not operating under wartime conditions. For the cheaper comparison itself, see our ranking of Ukrainian development companies.

How we ranked these software development companies in Poland

MatchFast does not accept payment for placement and nothing on this page can be bought. The full methodology sets out the criteria, the named data sources and how each company fact is verified. Every claim that could not be read from a live Clutch profile, a Eurostat dataset or the company’s own website was cut rather than estimated.

Recorded custom software development share and verified review volume carry the most weight between them. Where they pull against each other we say so rather than hiding it. STX Next holds the largest review base in Poland at 102, and sits second rather than first because Clutch now records no custom software development line against it at all, only 55 percent AI development. 10Clouds holds 95 reviews and sits fourth because 10 percent of its recorded work is custom software and a quarter is strategy and business consulting. Miquido is ninth on a 4.9 rating and 51 reviews purely because 70 percent of its work is mobile app development, which makes it the best mobile firm in Poland and a poor fit for this category.

Spyrosoft is the clearest case of the method producing an uncomfortable answer and being applied anyway. It is a listed company with 2,000 staff, 167 million US dollars of revenue and certifications none of the others hold. It also has two reviews from 2018 and publishes no pricing. On an evidence-based ranking it finishes tenth, and rather than quietly promoting it we have published both the position and the full credentials so buyers can make their own call.

Head office was verified against each company’s own website and registration rather than the directory label. All ten are genuinely Poland-headquartered, which is not true of every firm carrying a Polish city label on Clutch. Review counts were read on 10 September 2026 and re-checked on 11 September. All ten were unchanged, and the directory total moved from 1,648 to 1,650. Clutch itself states it may earn a fee for some placements in its directories. MatchFast used Clutch as a source for review data and company facts, not for ordering.

Two questions the shortlist cannot answer for you

Interview the people who will build it. Ask to meet your prospective tech lead and architect before signing, not the partner who ran the pitch. The published figures on this page tell you which firms can take the work. They cannot tell you who will actually be assigned to it.

Settle the maintenance retainer before launch. Agree the monthly figure and response times during negotiation. After a production incident is the worst possible moment to open that conversation, and it is the one commercial term buyers most often leave until it is too late to negotiate.

Engagement models

Fixed price works when the specification is locked, which in practice means after a paid discovery phase. Firms here price a risk buffer into it.

Time and materials suits products where discovery continues into the build. Insist on sprint-level burn reporting so the flexibility does not become a surprise.

Dedicated team or staff augmentation suits companies with their own product leadership and no engineering capacity. Netguru and Monterail each record 10 percent of work as IT staff augmentation and Spyrosoft records 10 percent, so all three are structured for it.

Red flags when hiring a software house in Poland

  • A quote arriving within 24 hours with no discovery conversation.
  • A rate quoted well below the $50 to $99 band, which is the published floor for eight of these ten firms, with no explanation of which work has been moved elsewhere.
  • A Polish city label on a directory profile with no Polish registered entity behind it. Ask for the KRS number and check it.
  • A firm pitching a specialism that does not appear in its recorded Clutch service mix at all.
  • Case studies without a named client you can verify independently.
  • A cost-saving pitch built on the 30 to 50 percent cheaper than Western Europe claim, which has no primary source.
  • No written maintenance plan, or a proposal that treats launch as the end of the engagement.
Project fit

How to Choose Between These Companies

Five questions that separate the shortlist faster than any pitch deck will.

01

Match the Minimum to Your Budget

Every firm but two publishes the same hourly band, so the minimum engagement is the real filter. Monterail starts at $10,000 and three firms start at $50,000. Sending the same brief to both wastes three weeks.

02

Read the Recorded Service Mix, Not the Homepage

STX Next records 55 percent AI development and no custom software line. Miquido records 70 percent mobile. Both are excellent and both are wrong for some briefs. Clutch records what they actually bill for.

03

Compare the Minimum Against the Typical Project

Future Processing will take $25,000 but usually runs programmes above $200,000. Being a rounding error to your supplier is its own risk, and it usually shows up as a junior team.

04

Confirm IP Assignment Under Polish Law

Polish copyright transfers through clauses naming specific fields of exploitation, so a general assignment sentence is not always enough. Have it reviewed, and take repository access from the first sprint.

05

Check Certification Against Your Sector

ISO 27001 is common here. ISO 13485 for medical devices and TISAX for automotive are not, and only Spyrosoft holds them among these ten. Confirm before shortlisting for regulated work.

How Can We Help You?

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a software development company in Poland cost in 2026?

Eight of the ten firms ranked here publish an identical $50 to $99 per hour band, and only Monterail publishes lower at $25 to $49. Spyrosoft publishes no rate at all. A 1,000 hour build therefore lands between $50,000 and $99,000 before change orders. Clutch places Poland in the same country band as the United States. Verified 11 September 2026.

Which Polish software house is best for a smaller first project?

Monterail, with a $10,000 minimum, the lowest on this page and the only firm publishing below the Polish market rate band. Five firms sit at $25,000 including Miquido, 10Clouds, Boldare, Future Processing and The Software House. Netguru, STX Next and Software Mind all require $50,000 to start.

Which Polish software development company has the most client reviews?

STX Next, with 102 verified Clutch reviews at 4.7 out of 5, read on 11 September 2026. That is the largest verified review base of any Polish software house in this ranking. 10Clouds is second with 95 reviews at 4.9, and The Software House third with 78 at 4.8. Spyrosoft carries only two, both dated 2018.

Why is Poland more expensive than Ukraine for software development?

Clutch places Poland at $50 to $99 per hour against Ukraine at $25 to $49. The difference buys European Union member state jurisdiction, GDPR alignment by default and a contract with an EU entity under EU law. Many regulated buyers treat that as non-negotiable regardless of the rate difference.

Is Poland cheaper than Germany or the United Kingdom for software development?

Probably, but no defensible percentage exists. The three rate sources MatchFast checked contradict each other, Clutch publishes no figure for the United Kingdom at all and does not list Germany. The widely repeated claim that Poland is 30 to 50 percent cheaper than Western Europe traces only to agency marketing pages, so this page does not repeat it.

Which Polish city is best for software development outsourcing?

Gliwice in Silesia hosts three of the ten ranked here, more than any other hub, and is routinely folded into Krakow by other directories. Poznan hosts STX Next and Netguru, Krakow hosts Software Mind and Miquido, and Wroclaw hosts Monterail and Spyrosoft. Choose by recorded specialism, not by hub size.

How large is Poland’s software talent pool?

Eurostat recorded 778,800 employed ICT specialists in Poland during 2025, equal to 4.5 percent of total national employment, alongside 20,677 new tertiary ICT graduates in 2024. That is the largest ICT workforce in Central and Eastern Europe. Poland exported 16.7 billion euros of computer services in 2024.

Who owns the code when a Polish software house builds my system?

Polish copyright transfers through clauses naming specific fields of exploitation, so a general assignment sentence is not always sufficient under Polish law. Have the transfer clause reviewed before signing, take repository access from the first sprint, and confirm whether any third party or open source components carry ongoing licence obligations.

Does MatchFast charge companies to appear in this ranking?

No. Ranking positions on MatchFast are not for sale and cannot be influenced by payment. Companies can submit themselves for editorial consideration, which does not affect placement. Clutch itself states that it may earn a fee for some directory placements. MatchFast used Clutch for review data and company facts, not for ordering.
